James Noble
James Noble is an Accredited Family Law Specialist with more than 30 years’ experience as a solicitor practising in family law. He is a member of the Family Law Practitioners’ Association, the Queensland Law Society, the Family Law Council of Australia and the Family Law section of the Law Council of Australia. James regularly lectures professional groups about family law matters. James is also a committee member of Queensland Collaborative Law and a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. James is a Notary Public and a member of The Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries.
James was a partner in a national law firm before starting James Noble Family Law in 2003. He aims to provide specialist family and relationship law and advice that emphasises amicable and timely resolution of relationship difficulties through negotiation and mediation.
James is one of a growing number of family law practitioners in Queensland that has specifically trained in Mediation and the Collaborative legal process.
Alison Windsor
Senior Associate Alison Windsor joined James Noble Family Law in February 2006. Alison has an enthusiastic and determined approach to family law matters. She has completed a Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Alison is a volunteer at the Women’s Legal Service and also a member on the Editorial Committee of the Queensland Lawyers publication 'Proctor'.
Neal Wood
Associate Neal Wood joined James Noble Family Law in January 2008. Neal holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours, a Bachelor of Justice with Distinction and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Neal has a strong interest in Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution as well as previous experience in Property Law and legal research. He is also the co-author of published articles on mediation.
